JAWS Dictionary File For Emoticons and Flags

This file will make JAWS speak meaningful names for Skype emoticons and country flag symbols. For this to work, be sure to turn off graphical emoticons in Skype options. This file is made available separately from the Skype scripts so it can be installed or omitted at the user's discretion, and so it can be used with any Skype and script version.

Thanks to Gordan Radic for putting this file together and making it available to us.

Revision dict1

This file contains all known Skype emoticons and around 250 names for country flags.

To install the dictionary, first download it, then copy or move it into your JAWS user folder. A quick way to do this is to open the JAWS user folder by going to Start, then All Programs, then your JAWS version, then Explore JAWS, and finally Explore My Settings. That will open the folder into which the jdf file should be placed, allowing you to move it simply with Ctrl+X or Ctrl+C in your downloads folder, then Ctrl+V in the JAWS settings folder.
